Shimmering Blush

This necklace features a large teardrop shaped light pink opal that is set in a sterling silver bezel. The opal's soft hue is beautifully complemented by shimmering abalone shell beads, Brazilian agate, and dark pink rhodochrosite. The blue-silver colors in the abalone bring out the light grey bands that run through the Brazilian agate. The facets on the rhodochrosite make it catch the light with movement. This is truly an eye-catching piece. Finished with a sterling silver lobster clasp. It is 17" long and weighs 1.5oz.

*Shimmering blush refers to the shimmering of the abalone and the blush color of the rhodochrosite. There is no shimmer on the pink opal pendant. Pink common opals do not possess the "fire" that is associated with precious opals. It is a lovely pale pink color with very slight variations in color. See pictures.*
